About This Coffee:
Uganda is quickly earning its place on the specialty coffee map – and this natural-processed single origin from Mt. Elgon is proof. Buka Bula comes from 214 smallholder farmers growing high-altitude coffee in the Bukalasi and Bulambuli regions, where cooler microclimates create beautifully sweet, dense cherry.
After being handpicked, the cherries are dried naturally on raised beds in Busoba. Once they reach 15% moisture, they are rested in sealed containers before shade-drying – a process that enhances clarity and complexity.
